Nikula horse track has 23 trotter racing days a year and also hosts exhibitions/events in the area. Between June and July, Kaustinen's Hammer Throw Carnival, will be held in the car park of the race track. From Veteli to the track is around 15km.

In Kaustinen each year is held the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival. A bus leaves from the hotel car park and runs directly to the festival area all week long.

Veteli's baseball field and athletics/sports field are nearby to the hotel and sports centre. During the summer you can find activity on them almost daily from either athletics competitions, football and baseball matches or practices.
